Higher Master’s Degree in Cinematography
Aimed at Film, Audiovisual, Photography and 3D students, as well as those with basic knowledge of film and photography who want to specialize as Directors of Photography.
- Age 20 +
- Regulated or non-regulated studies related to cinema or audiovisuals, artistic studies, professional experience or demonstrable self-taught training
- Basic computer knowledge at user level.
1st year
Students will actively participate as part a photography team (DOP, camera operator, focus puller…) in shoots for short films, documentaries, web series and advertising with Film Direction students, also joining the professional shooting teams of the SeñoraX production company. Students will master all types of exterior and interior lighting both on set and on location and will also tackle color correction in projects.
2nd year
In this 2nd year, students will continue shooting with large format cameras (short films, documentary, web series and advertising spot), will practice 360º filming, shooting for VR, artificial lighting and virtual sets, and will learn about post-production and filming techniques with digital effects. During this year, the students will also shoot a feature film and will continue to direct the photography of various cross-cutting projects. Once the Master is finished, students will have a reel of advertising works, series, short films and feature films.

- Certified FX Degree
- Director of photography in film, advertising, TV and other audiovisual industries.
You will be trained in an aesthetic and creative way, focusing on the technical and technological elements of film, to train yourself in the new ways of approaching filming: Chroma shoots (interior and exterior), image integration and visual effects (VFX), photography for virtual reality and post-shoot, post-production work in general. You will develop your personal and management skills while learning how to manage and motivate the team, leading projects on a national and international scale.
You will master all types of exterior and interior lighting both on set and on location and you will master how to perform color corrections in your projects. You will work with large format cameras (short films, documentary, web series and advertising spots), you will practice 360º filming and shooting for VR, artificial lighting and virtual sets, and you will learn the techniques of post-production and filming with digital effects. In your final year of training, you will embark on the filming of a feature film.
