HIGHER MASTER’S IN DESIGN AND 3D ART FOR VIDEOGAMES

Aimed at those interested in working in the 3D video game sector, and at people who come from the world of 3D, programming, traditional or 3D animation, or from the audiovisual, multimedia or computer sector.

  • Age 20 +
  • Competent computer skills and familiarity with Windows environment.
  • No specific prior training is required.
  • Drawing and / or 3D basics are recommended (not obligatory).

1st year

During this first year, students will begin to work on indoor and outdoor environments in low poly, the creation of characters and props and the first VFX for mobile quality videogames. At the end of this academic year, they will master all kinds of graphics for mobile platforms and PCs in high poly for both advanced indoor and outdoor environments, creation of complex characters and the use of new tools such as ZBrush, Substance Painter and Designer.

2nd year

In this final year, students will work on creating advanced characters (creatures), advanced environments and cinematics for VR, photogrammetry, and visual effects for videogames with Houdini.
At the end of the training, each student will carry out their own personal project that together with their demo reel, will be their calling card to the industry.

The objective of this training focused on 3D art, is that you master the tools (3DSMax, Substance Painter and Designer and ZBrush), and the entire creative and technical process to generate environments, characters (modeling, sculpting, texturing, rigging and animation), visual effects, creation of tools for production, creation of extreme detail and optimization of all the material for its integration in 3D graphics engines (Unreal Engine and Unity3D), and generate a professional portfolio to join the industry.
